1. Look inside
A good inner lining can truly achieve undiminished craftsmanship and cleanliness. Generally, the side with the bond line will not directly touch the skin. The finely crafted inner lining is not directly seamed, but hidden in the folding process.
2. Look at the side seams
The seams of good-quality clothes are dense and firm, and the stitches are relatively flat and will not be twisted. The width of the drawn suture determines the degree of fineness. Gently pull the fabric stitches to both sides to observe if there is a large gap or even if the stitching is separated. This tip applies to buying fast fashion brands.
3. Look at the pattern
The more symmetrical the left and right patterns of the pattern, the more material and cost of the production process.
When buying printed and checked clothes, look at the perfect symmetry of the collar, sleeves, and pockets. The clothes on the left in the picture below are completely symmetrical, while the patterns on the two sleeves on the right are completely different. If the clothes have patterns, check the connection of the sewing patterns.
